Tsunami Research Introduces Hive Starter Kit
New bundled software and hardware solution makes it easier for developers to create Hive-based applications.
St. Louis, MO (August 18, 2003) — Tsunami Research™ today announced the availability of a new solution
called the Hive Starter Kit™.
“One thing our current and potential customers have made clear is
that they need an affordable, integrated solution that will enable
their developers to begin creating Hive-based applications,” said Bob
Lozano, Tsunami Research’s CEO. “Our goal with the Hive Starter Kit is
to meet that need.”
The Hive Starter Kit is a bundled software and hardware solution,
priced at $9,950, which includes everything developers need to begin
creating Hive-based applications. The Hive Starter Kit includes five
computers, five HiveCreator™ licenses, a monitor, and everything else
that is required to set up a Hive of five Workers™.
In addition to the Hive Starter Kit, Tsunami Research is also
introducing two new services to help developers get up to speed on
Hive Computing.
The first service, called a Hive Planning Workshop™, is a
facilitated session that is conducted by a Tsunami Research Solution
Architect and is designed to help organizations identify applications
that can be deployed in a Hive™. The output of a Hive Planning
Workshop is a project plan for a pilot implementation of a Hive.
The second service, called the Tsunami Research Mentor Program™, is
designed to educate developers on the best practices of developing
Hive-based applications. The Tsunami Research Mentor Program gives
developers direct access to the architects of HiveCreator.
